Description
This is what I aim for when shooting birds. The percentage of times I can achieve it, though, is not exactly high. This one I'm definitely pleased with. It is not a crop, so I guess that tells you why the amount of detail is good. He just stayed there and let me shoot him ... I believe he was tired ... once he even appeared to yawn.
The Cornell Lab of Ornithology web site ,All About Birds, mentions two body types of Hermit Thrush ... stocky, and chubby. This one definitely falls into the chubby category.
